Zela Jet is the new business step of Andreas Christodoulides 

The next business step for a man whose business and career path has been linked to airplanes and aviation for thirty consecutive years is the private jet leasing company, Zela Jet. The reason for Andreas Christodoulides, who created this company in the pandemic, which belongs to the Zela Aviation group of companies, which records a 16-year presence in the field of chartering and selling aircraft to major airlines worldwide. 

Andreas Christodoulides aim through this move was to provide an affordable solution for private travel and business travel both within Greece and Cyprus, as well as in the wider Eastern Mediterranean region. Zela Jet offers transportation without “luxuries, flight attendants or other additional services”, as Mr. Christodoulides usually says by recommending it, thus wanting to show that affordable and fast private transportation are exclusively at the centre of services offered by Zela Jet. 

The need for affordable private transportation became more pronounced during the pandemic

The initiative to establish the newly established business entity came when the businessman realized during the pandemic the demand that existed on the one hand for cargo flights, on the other hand for private flights when a significant number of scheduled flights were suspended. He chose to focus on the second case with the founding of Zela Jet. 

It should be noted that in June and on the threshold of the summer season, Zela Jet brings to Greece its first private jet, collaborating with the Austrian company OysterJets, which is based in Vienna. This is a Cessna Citation Mustang, which has four passenger seats, in a comfortable cabin with leather interior.

A fully trained team of executives from both Zela Jet and Oyster Jets is available to serve passengers, which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by phone, WhatsApp and email with the ability to communicate in 6 different languages. 

The passion for airplanes

Andreas Christodoulides was born and raised in Cyprus, while for the last 38 years he has been living in London. What characterizes him and he does not miss the opportunity to state it, is the passion he has had with airplanes since he was a small child. A passion that started as a hobby and later became part of his professional life and life in general. The Zela Aviation group is a company specializing in charter flights and aircraft rentals. At the same time, however, it is the group that in many cases is behind important agreements and collaborations with suppliers and buyers of aircraft from every corner of the globe. 

The focus is on expanding the fleet with other aircraft and helicopters

Its goal is, in addition to the first Cessna that will soon be in Greece, to gradually expand the fleet of Zela Jet, putting at the service of the traveller other private planes as well as helicopters. His aim is first and foremost to continue to do what he describes as his passion, his constant involvement with aviation, offering comfortable and fast movement to the passengers of the Zela Jet.
